The main commonly used plasticizers are as follows:

1. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): This plasticizer has good compatibility with various resins, so it is widely used in coatings. Dibutyl phthalate has less yellowing tendency on the coating film. Dibutyl phthalate is often used in coatings such as nitrocellulose coatings and polyvinyl acetate emulsions.

2. Dioctyl phthalate (DOP): Its performance is similar to the above-mentioned dibutyl phthalate, but it has less volatility, light resistance and heat resistance. It is commonly used in nitrocellulose coatings and polyvinyl plastisol and organosol coatings.

3. Synthetic vegetable esters are based on vegetable oils. They are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. They can meet the requirements of medical grade. Used in conjunction with DOP / DBP / ATBC (or other higher-priced plasticizers), it does not affect each performance index of the product, and greatly reduces the production cost of the enterprise.
